How do I install a DSH plugin?
Start DSH first. The Web UI opens at 127.0.0.1:3080 by default:

Why does a plugin break after an upgrade?
DSH is a developer preview, and the official repository says releases will include breaking changes. The plugin APIs are still moving, so an older plugin can fail to install or throw errors after you upgrade DSH. Check the DSH versions in the plugin README, and after an upgrade try plugins in a separate profile before putting them back into web.
